A little bit of glimmer misting on the front and back cover, we will "paint the roses red" with Tattered Angel's Flirty Glamour Glaze and Wicked, and all the rest of the pages are inked with Cats Eye Chalk Pads and/or Distress Inks. Using T.J. Designs Alice stamps, from seven different sets we will ink stamp and fill this book. Also using T.J. Designs Alice Collage pack papers, tags, ribbons, charms, fun paper from Canvas Corp. And, the front and back covers have Viva Decor's Modeling Grass for a fun grass look.

IMPORTANT to have class supplies on hand: paper trimmer,scissors, pop dots (if desired), dry adhesive and/or just a wet glue like Zip Dry.

Colored Pencils if you have: flesh color, yellow, blue. Some will be available to share. Chalk Inks used, or any similar colors: Chestnut Roan, Black, Red, Blue Lagoon, Olive Pastel, Yellow. Sally grew up in Ohio and has loved stamping since she was a child. She received a rubber stamp set of simple shapes, which she played with for hours. In the 1970s, after earning a degree in art education, she was again intrigued as stamps began popping up in eclectic stores and catalogs. She taught art primarily in elementary schools and really loved the free spirit in children’s art.

Years later as a stay-at-home-mom with two active boys, she began stamping on letters and cards to friends. As stamp crafting blossomed, Sally started a home business, called Mostly Hearts, selling decorative stamps. She helped spread the joys of stamping by attending craft fairs and teacher expos.

She eventually sold her business when she moved from Michigan to Palm Springs, a Southern California desert area that she calls paradise. Her daily walks provide her with many ideas, as she never stops thinking about ways to use stamps and papers.

Sally strives for designs that are simple, stylish and easily replicated. She has designed some of the company’s trend-setting images, including the simple squares that came to be called Shadow Stamps. Her book, “Simply Cards,” was published in 2006. She has also contributed to many of the Design Original Books.

Besides paper crafting, Sally also loves knitting and water coloring and has introduced her two precious granddaughters to the art of stamping and painting. She loves all the people she has met in this big creative world and can’t wait to see what each day unfolds.
